Why does the robot spin in circles?

Updated on 2026/03/12
1.Take the robot out of pool, turn it off (important!). Turn the left/right/both track(s) manually to see if it turns. If they turn freely but won’t move underwater, it could be caused by a clogged filter basket or stucked motor. Clean the filter basket and remove the debris in the motor.
1).To clean the filter basket:
a.Press the button on the front of the robot to open the filter basket cover and remove the filter basket assembly.
b.Empty the debris from the filter basket.
c.If the 3 μm filter is installed, remove it, then thoroughly rinse the inner and outer filter baskets separaterly.
d.After cleaning, make sure to air-dry the filter mesh and filter basket before placing them back into the pool robot.
2).To clean the motor gear and remove debris from the track, remove the side cover of the robot, take off the tracks, and use a tool to remove the front wheel. Inspect and clean any debris from the motor gear and tracks. After cleaning, manually turn the motor gear to check for unusual noises or stuck. Once confirmed clean, reinstall the front wheel, tracks, and side cover.
2.If no debris is found in the tracks but the motor gear remains stuck, or if the motor has been damaged due to water ingress in the Waterproof Chamber Assembly, please contact customer service for support and assistance.
