Why won’t the filter basket lid pop open when pressing the filter basket switch button on the robot?

This issue is mostly caused by sand or other debris getting into the button area during cleaning, resulting in jamming. Please follow these steps to troubleshoot:
1.Turn off the unit first.
2.Move the unit to an easy-to-clean area.
3.Press and hold the filter basket switch button with one hand, and gently press the filter basket lid repeatedly with the other hand until the jammed sand is loose and the lid pops open.
4.Rinse the button gaps and the contact area of the lid with clean water continuously, while pressing the button intermittently several times until it presses smoothly without jamming.
5.Refit the filter basket cover properly before using again.
Note:
If the pool is heavily dirty or has not been used for a long time, it is recommended to carry out manual pre-cleaning before using the unit for further cleaning.
