Why is the GOAT missing some areas when mowing?

Updated on 2024/04/15
(1) Please check whether there are temporary obstacles blocking the route of the GOAT. Areas smaller than 1 m in diameter blocked by temporary obstacles will not be mowed by the GOAT.
(2) Please check whether AI recognition is turned on in the app. These may occasionally result in false obstacle avoidances.
(3) Please check whether the obstacle avoidance height you set in the App is too low. Lower obstacle avoidance heights may result in missed areas.
(4)The GOAT can clear obstacles with a height of up to 3 cm (based on laboratory data). Steps or roads with a greater height are inaccessible to the GOAT.
(5) The GOAT is unable to mow grass higher than 12 cm. Higher grass may be recognized as an obstacle, so please make sure that grass has been trimmed to lower than 10 cm.
(6) The GOAT is unable to climb slopes with an inclination of greater than 21°. It is recommended to set up physical enclosures (height greater than 15cm) for these slopes.
(7)In order to avoid the GOAT getting stuck, GOAT will not enter areas with a height lower than 45cm.
If an area is missed due to temporary obstacles, it will be mowed next time after the obstacle has been removed. You can also use the App to manually control the GOAT and mow the missed areas
