Why does the GOAT automatically return to the docking station when it is on standby?

To prevent the GOAT from running out of battery when not in the station, it has been programmed to automatically return to the docking station for recharge when it has been in standby mode outside the station for more than half an hour, or when the battery level is below 20%.
