Why did the map creation fail?
Updated on 2026/01/28
(1) Verify if the device was moved or dragged during mapping. Moving the device will cause mapping failure. We recommend trimming uneven areas in your garden to reduce the likelihood of GOAT getting stuck during remote control, which may require moving or dragging it.
(2) Confirm if the lawn area is too open. If there are no structures or tall plants within 60m of GOAT, mapping cannot be generated.
(3) Ensure sufficient daylight and no rain during mapping.
(4) Ensure the map was properly closed after completing the outer perimeter remote control as instructed by the app. If the remote control endpoint is too far from the starting point, the map may fail to close. (5) GOAT maps have maximum side length restrictions: O1000 LiDAR PRO: Maximum map side length 100m; O1200 LiDAR PRO: Maximum map side length 100m;A1600 LiDAR PRO: Maximum map side length 150m; A2000 LiDAR PRO: Maximum map side length 150m; A3000: Maximum map side length 150m. If the longest side of the entire map exceeds the limit, it cannot be successfully generated. It is recommended to reduce the length of the longest side and rebuild the map.
