What should be noted when setting up a restricted area?

Updated on 2026/01/28
1. Number of restricted areas: There is no limit to the number of restricted areas; they can be flexibly set up based on actual needs.
2. Restricted Area Relationships:
2.1 Restricted areas support creating intersecting or overlapping zones to accommodate complex planning scenarios.
2.2 If the spacing between restricted area boundaries, or between a restricted area boundary and the map boundary, is less than 0.8m (O LiDAR PRO) / 0.9m (A LiDAR PRO), narrow paths may form, potentially causing missed cutting in that area.
3. Size Requirements: The minimum diameter of a restricted zone must be 50cm. If a restricted zone fails to close, check whether it is due to an overly small size setting.
4. Closure Rules: Restricted zones must form closed areas. To set linear restricted zones, remotely control the machine to its farthest point and then return along the same path to the starting point to complete the zone closure.
5. Special Area Restrictions: The 2m radius around the station is the default GOAT recharge access zone. To ensure normal device recharge, avoid setting restricted zones near the station. Large restricted zones directly in front of the station may prevent GOAT from returning to recharge.
