1. Remove the dirty water tank, open its lid, and empty the contents. (If residue remains at the bottom, use the cleaning brush to assist in thorough removal.)
2. Check that the float inside the dirty water tank is in place. Ensure it returns to its normal position after being moved, indicating proper function.
3. Replace the dirty tank lid and ensure the latches are securely fastened.
4. Reinstall the dirty water tank into the station.
