How to address incomplete dust collection by the robot?

Updated on 2026/01/22
1. First, set the dust collection mode to Standard + High Frequency before attempting again.
2. Check if the Dust Bin cover is properly secured: An improperly closed door causes air leakage, reducing vacuum suction and preventing normal dust collection.
3. Verify that the station's rear exhaust vent isn't too close to walls. Proximity reduces airflow and dust collection efficiency; maintain at least 1.5cm clearance.
4. Check if large debris (e.g., toothpicks, small toys) is blocking the ROBOT's dust channel or the station's dust inlet. Manually clear any obstructions if found.
5. Verify that your machine is operating in the vacuum&mop mode. In this mode, excessive moisture on the floor can cause the dustbin walls to become damp. Over time, lint and debris may adhere to these walls, accumulating and eventually clogging the dustbin, which impairs dust collection. We recommend regularly inspecting and cleaning the dustbin, or switching to a "vacuum first, then mop" cleaning method for better results.
