The robot automatically adapts to the carpet mode without lifting or hitting the floor mat, how to deal with it?

Issue One: The robot's mopping pad plate cannot be lifted.
1. Check the carpet cleaning strategy: Ensure that the carpet cleaning strategy is set to "Self-Adaptation Carpet" mode. You can adjust this setting in the app under Robot Control > Settings > Carpet Cleaning Strategy.
2. Confirm the robot's working mode:
- In sweeping mode, the mopping pad plate remains raised, which is normal.
- In mopping mode or simultaneous sweeping and mopping mode, the mopping pad plate remains lowered and only lifts when encountering carpets, which is also normal.
- If themopping pad plate lifts during the first cleaning and lowers during the second cleaning, it's normal behavior as it lifts only when encountering carpets.
3. If the above conditions are not met, follow these steps:
- Check if any foreign objects are stuck in the mopping pad plate and remove them.
- Ensure the robot andmopping pad plate are securely installed. If loose, reinstall the mopping pad plate.
- Install thmopping pad plate and initiate fixed-point cleaning in an open area. Observe if the mopping pad plate lowers normally. If not, contact Ecovacs customer service for assistance.
Issue Two: Self-adaptive carpet mode activates when encountering floor mats, rolled carpet edges, or when stuck on the main unit.
1. Due to Self-Adaptation carpet mode, the robot's ultrasonic wave recognition triggers the lifting of the mopping pad plate. However, some floor mats with hard surface materials may not be recognized by ultrasonic waves, leading to the phenomenon of hitting the floor mat.
2. To prevent the mopping pad plate from wrapping around cables, causing it to fall off and wrap around the cable, the product design ensures that the mop tray falls off directly after reaching a certain force, ensuring the safety of items in the home environment.
3. If a separate data cable is brought back to the station, it's because the cable is relatively thin and doesn't obstruct the mopping pad plate's operation. It's recommended to store cables away from the ground in the home environment.
