When the robot is in Auto strategy, the mopping pad plates do not lift up or bump into mats. What should I do?

Mopping pad plates do not lift up?
1. Check whether the carpet cleaning strategy is set to Auto.
Open the app and go to Smart Cleaning > Carpet Cleaning Strategies and select "Auto".
2. Confirm the robot's cleaning mode:
(1) In Vacuum mode, the mopping pad plates are lifted. This is normal.
(2) In Mopping mode, the mopping pad plates will only automatically lift up when carpet is detected.
(3) In Vacuum and Mopping mode, the mopping pad plates will only automatically lift up when carpet is detected.
(4) In Mop after Vacuum mode, the mopping pad plates will be lifted up for the vacuum phase and lowered for the mopping phase. They will only lift-up again if carpet is detected.
3. If the above situations are not relevant to your problem, try the below steps:
(1) Check whether the mopping pad plates have debris stuck in it. Clean it if any debris.
(2) Check whether the mopping pad plates are correctly attached on the robot. If not, attatch them again.
When DEEBOT is cleaning, and Auto strategy is selected, why does the robot still knock into mats and get caught in carpets?
When in Auto strategy, the robot uses carpet detection sensor to detect carpet and then lift up the mopping pad plates. Some mats have harder surfaces, meaning the robot may not detect the mat, or the mat may be too thin and the sensor does not detect it. In these scenarios the robot may knock into the mats.
The mopping pad plates will lift up when cleaning carpets, however when the robot encounters a curled carpet corner it might get stuck. It is recommended that you use double-sided tape to stick down curled corners or use a virtual wall to avoid the area.
