Should the station, RTK, and GOAT be moved indoors during winter?
Opdateret den 2026/01/26
To prevent freezing damage, follow these steps when decommissioning GOAT during winter:
Station: Move the entire unit indoors (to protect signal cables and electronic components from freezing). Mark the original installation location for precise reinstallation in spring to avoid positioning errors.
RTK: Dismantle the station and bring it indoors; the support pole may remain outdoors. When reinstalling, ensure the support pole aligns with its original position to prevent signal misalignment.
GOAT: Store it directly indoors. Before storing, ensure it is Fully Charged and powered off.
