ECOVACS Limited Warranty

OVERVIEW
ECOVACS goods purchased in Australia come with statutory rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. The rights described in this LIMITED WARRANTY are in addition to those statutory rights.
The Australian Consumer Law provides consumer guarantees that provide that you may be entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure with a ECOVACS product and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have ECOVACS goods repaired or replaced if ECOVACS goods fail to be of acceptable quality (as provided by the Australian Consumer Law) and the failure is a minor failure. In such case ECOVACS is entitled to choose between providing you with a repair, refund or replacement.
A claim for compensation must be supported by documentary evidence of the loss or damage suffered, and that such loss or damage was a reasonably foreseeable consequence of a failure by ECOVACS to comply with a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law. Such evidence may include photographs, statutory declarations, receipts or reports (e.g. from your doctor), depending on the loss or damage.
LIMITED WARRANTY
In addition to any rights and remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law, we warrant that ECOVACS products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under ordinary consumer use for one year (*2.5 year for DEEBOT DEEBOT X5 Family,DEEBOT X2 COMBO, DEEBOT X2 OMNI, DEEBOT X1 OMNI and 2 year for DEEBOT T30S COMBO, DEEBOT T30 Family, DEEBOT T20 OMNI, DEEBOT X1 TURBO, DEEBOT X1 PLUS, DEEBOT T10 PLUS, DEEBOT T9+, WINBOT W1 PRO, DEEBOT N20 Family, DEEBOT N10 PLUS, DEEBOT T8 AIVI) from the date of original retail purchase. If your ECOVACS product becomes defective during this warranty period we will, at our option, to the extent permitted by law, either:
- Replace or repair all defective parts using either new or refurbished parts, free of charge (shipping and handling cost may be charged); or
- Repair the ECOVACS product using either new or refurbished parts, free of charge (shipping and handling cost may be charged);
- Replace the ECOVACs product with a new or refurbished ECOVACS product that is equivalent to the ECOVACS product to be replaced free of charge (shipping and handling cost may be charged); or
- refund to you all or part of the purchase price of the ECOVACS product.
This Limited Warranty applies, to the extent permitted by law, to any repair, replacement part or replacement ECOVACS product for the remainder of the original warranty period or for ninety days, whichever period is longer. All replaced parts and ECOVACS product for which a refund is given shall become ECOVACS property.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THE LIMITED WARRANTY?
- Worn out components or consumables such as battery of a remote control, battery of safety pod, cleaning cloth and mop, filter, sponge filter, main brush, main brush cover, side brush, cleaning solution, squeegee.
- Malfunction or damage caused by commercial use or other not-home or ordinary domestic use.
- Malfunction or damage caused by home renovation debris/sand/dust, or other chemical/metal grains/liquid.
- Malfunction or damage due to natural disasters such as floods, fires or lightning, etc.
- Malfunction or damage due to accident, misuse, or negligence such as dropping the unit, immersing it in liquid, or improper voltage input by incorrect operations.
- The ECOVACS product has been used for rental or similar purposes.
- The ECOVACS product was damaged by foreign objects, substances or accidents.
- The ECOVACS product has been repaired, altered or modified by any unauthorized third parties.
