How to Connect the Robot to Wi-Fi?

I. Preparation Before Pairing
Scan the QR code on the robot to download and install the "ECOVACS HOME" App according to the prompts. (During installation, please grant the App necessary permissions, including location access and local network access.)
Confirm that your router's 2.4GHz band wireless signal is enabled.
Ensure your mobile phone is connected to your home Wi-Fi network and can access the internet normally by opening a web browser.
Helpful Tip:
If your router is set to broadcast two separate Wi-Fi signals (2.4GHz and 5GHz), please temporarily select to ignore the 5GHz Wi-Fi hotspot signal on your phone, keeping only the 2.4GHz signal available for pairing.
Position both your robot and the phone you are using for setup in an area with strong Wi-Fi signal coverage during the pairing process.
Do not hide the Wi-Fi signal in your router settings during or after the pairing process.
Currently, robot pairing does not support VPNs, proxy servers, or networks requiring web authentication and certification.
II. Starting the Pairing Process
Follow the in-App prompts and tap "Add Robot via QR Code" (this is the default method, scanning the QR code on the robot). Alternatively, you can select "Search for Robot" to find your model by product name or series.
Pairing Steps:
① Turn on the robot's power switch. After the startup tone finishes, check the box confirming the robot is powered on (ensure the Wi-Fi indicator light on the robot is flashing).
② Briefly press the reset button for 1 second and release it. You will hear the robot voice prompt "Starting network pairing mode."
③ Follow the prompts to connect to your home Wi-Fi: select your home Wi-Fi network and accurately enter the password.
④ After completing the previous step, click "Next." You will see a prompt asking if you want to join the network "ECOVACS-XXXX". Select "Join." The connection will be established automatically. Wait for the pairing result.
Once the steps above are completed, the Wi-Fi connection is successfully established. You can now access and enjoy the robot's advanced features through the App.
