Why can't GOAT find the base station or connect to it correctly?

Updated on 2026/01/28
1. Check if the station light is illuminated. If not, troubleshoot for power failure, interrupted power supply, or station malfunction. If the station is confirmed faulty, contact Ecovacs after-sales service directly.
2. Check if the station has been moved.
3. Verify the return-to-charge path is unobstructed. Ensure no obstacles exist within 2 meters of the station.
4. Inspect if the white reflective film inside the station is blocked or damaged.
5. Check for copper corrosion on the charging contacts of the station or GOAT. If present, first disconnect the station power and power off the GOAT, then wipe the contacts clean.
6. Check for reflective objects near the station that resemble the white reflective film (e.g., open umbrellas, reflective metal railings, reflective tape, fluorescent shoes/laces, reflective mirrors, reflective road signs). Such objects may misguide the GOAT and should be removed or shielded.
7. Inspect and clean the radar sensor on top of the GOAT and the AI fisheye camera at the front.
If the recharge issue persists after completing all troubleshooting steps, please contact Ecovacs after-sales service.
