What should I do if the robot gets carpets wet while mopping?
Updated on 2024/06/17
Higher pile carpets may get wet during cleaning by the robot.
In the app go to Smart Cleaning > Map > Edit Map > Virtual Wall to set virtual walls where needed.
Why do robots get carpets wet?
When cleaning, the mopping pads will lift up when the carpet detection sensor detects carpet. It takes time for the mopping pads to lift. However, the robot does not stop moving, meaning the robot may go onto the carpet for a short distance before the mopping pads are fully lifted up, leading to them becoming wet.
