What to do if the robot can't find the charging dock/AES or has difficulty returning to the charging dock/AES?
Updated on 2024/03/13
1. Please make sure that the charging dock/AES is placed on a hard surface and powered on, there are no obstacles within 1m to the left or right and 2m in front of it, and there are no reflective objects (e.g., mirrors, metal, glass, etc.) around it.
2. Please verify whether the return path is blocked, for example, the room with the charging dock/AES is closed; check if the charging dock/AES is out of power in the middle of the day or has been moved by humans; confirm that the robot starts cleaning from the charging dock/AES; if the charging dock/AES is placed on a carpet, it will affect the success of the robot's charging back.
3. You can try to manually move the robot to the front of the charging dock/AES, short press the charge button, and observe whether it can return to charge; if it can't return on its own, restart the robot after shutting it down and manually dock it to the charging dock/AES, and then retry it again after it is fully charged.
