How do I edit the map of AIRBOT Z1?
Updated on 2022/08/30
Map edit is only possible when the robot is in the standby state. Tap map edit function in the app to configure the relevant settings.
1. Backing up maps, restoring maps, deleting maps
• Backing up maps: After the first mapping is complete, the map will be automatically backed up. In case of changes to the map when the robot is working, you can manually back up the map as needed.
• Restoring maps: If you have not manually backed up any map, the map during the first mapping will be restored by default. If you have manually backed up a map, the last manually backed up map will be restored.
• Deleting maps: After a map is deleted, it cannot be restored and you cannot use the advanced features. If you delete a map when the robot is not in the charging dock, the robot will not be able to automatically return to the charging dock.
2. Setting area types: Select an area to set its type.
3. Dividing areas: Dividing must be done on the area to divide. Divided areas should not be too small. A purification spot will be automatically generated for each area that has been successfully divided.
4. Merging areas: Only adjacent areas can be merged. Every time two areas are merged into one, a purification spot will be automatically deleted.
5. Setting up purification spot: After mapping is complete, the home map will be automatically divided into several areas, each representing a purification spot. Purification spots can be moved within the map, but cannot be directly added or deleted. To add or delete a purification spot, you can do so by dividing or merging areas in map edit function.
6. Air Quality Monitor settings: Binding or unbinding the air quality monitor
Before binding, make sure that the monitor has been connected to the ECOVACS HOME app. Select the area to bind to and bind the monitor to it. Tap a bound area to unbind it. After the binding is successful, the data from the monitor will be displayed on the map.
